Cashel's Tail Shields are designed to wrap around your horse's tail head. This neoprene wrap fits securely and comfortably to protect from rubbing. Rubbing can cause fraying at the tail base. Neoprene stays flexible in a wide range of temperatures. It is water resistant and is easily cleaned.

The tail shield can be used for breeding - live-cover, artificial insemination. In these situations the wrap helps to keep the tail area clear and clean. Great for trailering to prevent tail rubbing.

Not recommended for use over 4-5 hour periods. The shield comes in one size - 12"x12".
